Greatest invention ever!!!
★★★★★
I'm so happy with our pod system!! We have 2 pups that encourage each other to wander a bit...and my smaller pup wouldn't come home. I was so worried we'd end up with the worst news possible, so we tried everything!! Then a friend got us to research this product...best decision I could have ever made for my pups safety. Now my dogs on the other hand hate it...their wanderlust years are far behind them. The days of roaming the streets are over. Which makes me one happy mom. Now the only down fall, is that once a month we have to unplug the pod itself to let it reset. Other wise the pups will get shocked within the perimeter. Other than that, it's my favorite thing.

Great!
★★★★★
We've had those for a few years now and it ha slept our Siberian Husky out of lots of trouble with the neighbors! She listens so much better and stays around the house. We just recently got another husky and we're thinking about purchasing another collar but I wasn't sure if you could have multiple dogs with this system?

Wonderful Fence
★★★★★
We live in the country and have a Setter who can scale 6 foot fences and a 200lb Great Dane who is protective. After a lot of research this was the only product that fit our needs. And it works so well! We learned quickly not to leave the collars too loose, and that our Setter would notice if we let her battery go. To our surprise the signal works inside our 20x40 metal barn :). Our favorite feature is that the dogs can come and go from any door and still be safe inside their fence.

So easy
★★★★★
I bought this for my granddog Charlie for when he visits us. . He has been trained with three other invisible fences and when he saw the flags going up, he knew what was happening. He was trained the minute the flags went up. It took my son in law one hour to set it up and figure out where to put the flags. So easy!

So worth the money!
★★★★★
We purchased our own after visiting family that had it for their dog. We used the extra collar they had and very quickly our black lab was aware of the boundary and able to roam free there. At home, we no longer need to keep him on a lead and again, he quickly learned where the boundary was after a couple days, he mastered how far he could go. It's adjustable, so you need to walk your property with the collar as it says in the directions to determine where you want the warning tone to start. The strength of tone and zap is adjustable to. Level three has been perfect for our 2 year old dog. It's portable so you can take it anywhere!! It does need to be plugged into a power source to work...generator, solar panel, power inverter, household outlet, etc. To see our dog run free and stay safe...priceless!

Waterproof and Reliable
★★★★★
We have had this system for over 3 years and has only failed us when we failed to replace batteries or charge collars (we added an additional collar that was not battery operated). We use this system at our lake, and on multiple occasions one of my dogs has decided she wants to chase the beaver by our land and jumps in the lake and the collar is still working. Excellent product, gives us peace of mine and we trust it 100%

Affordable, Portable and it really works!
★★★★★
We live on 5 acres in the country. A physical fence would limit seeing wildlife in the back yard and a permanent underground fence seemed to restrictive. Per recommendations, we purchased the wireless pet containment system. It was a game changer! We can adjust the diameter and take it with us when visiting the folks. "Maggie" no longer challenges the perimeter even if she sees deer, squirrels or other critters.

Easy change!
★★★★
Working great. Only thing is that the boundary is not always the same in a tight area. Hard to get it set at the right setting. Nice to not have to use any wire and can change area any time. Time will tell how long it will last. Hopefully as long as we need it.

Great System
★★★★
We have owned our system for over 8 years and it has worked great for the 2 dogs we had on it. However, when we added a 3rd collar the added collar went a little crazy beeping erratically even when right next to the system. I've repaired the collars using the steps several times. The new collar, the one that seems to be going crazy the most, has 8 settings vs the other 2s 5 settings. I'm not sure if that is a reason for its acting strangely? The 2nd collar is now beeping erratically though. I'm thinking it's time to replace the whole system and all 3 collars. I love the system and definitely want to say thank you for having it. It definitely keeps my dogs safe and from running. It's worked great for many years and I think we've just worn it out! Definitely getting another system!

Confusing...

I bought this not to long ago and just trying it out the collar will not beep when we go out of the boundary we're aren't sure of what's wrong but measure out the feet perfectly somethimes it beeps very close to the transmitter and sometimes it beeps 150 feet out of the boundary. If it is the boundary we are unsure of how to get a new one. Not really worth my time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Worth Every Penny
★★★★★
I did a lot of research on this product after it was recommended to me. We are just thrilled with how easy it was. I have two young terriers who would bolt out of the yard to happily chase squirrels, neighbors etc. We have a large lot and part of it is wooded. We didn't want to have to bury a wire. We also didn't want to worry about what door the dogs were let out. In two days, the dogs understood the fencing. I tried the shock on myself at the lowest setting to be sure that I would not be hurting my dogs, and it was not painful...just an annoying feeling. So far, my only complaint is that occasionally, when the collars are off of the dogs and hanging in the house, they will beep on their own. This scares the dogs, understandably! I highly recommend this containment system. It has given my dogs freedom to run and play. It's a really great product.

Petsafe Wireless Fence for 2 Dogs
★★★★
It does keep the dogs off the highway or running to the neighbors. 3 critical comments: The batteries only last maybe 2 months and are about $6 each, so with 2 dogs that averages a battery a month $6x12=$72 a year in batteries. These dog stay well within the area, so aren't wearing the batteries out by setting them off often. Wish they were re-chargeable. Another comment is that one dog has chewed a little on the other dog's receiver, and that could be expensive. PetSafe suggests buying a $5 + shipping PVC cover for to protect the receiver. And, I wish there was a way to know when the battery is running down. We can only tell when one of the dogs is out of the area.

Great Product
★★★★★
We tried the "wired" invisible fence at our previous home, but the dog discovered that if she ran fast enough, she could escape. Amazingly, this product works for her. It was much, much easier and less expensive to install, and she learned very quickly that she could not leave the yard. This product also eliminates problems that the "wired" invisible fence can have when erosion or children or animals digging expose the wires.

The solution to your canine containment blues!
★★★★★
We have four labs and this fence works fantastic for large dogs and containing them in your yard with minimal install. Most home owners could easily install this unit within an hour, unlike chain link, one must have a post hole digger, bags of concrete mix, a winch to tighten the wire fabric to the poles...and many hours...and much more money to invest! What a hassle! This is a much more affordable fencing option if you don't have the money for costly chain link or don't like the obstructed look of posts and wire fabric. I would agree that it's not the solution for all breeds of dogs, we found that it didn't keep our stubborn natured bull dog from charging the electronic static/zap because he knew that the faster he charged the line, the quicker he'd be on the other side. This products work well on most dog personalities and breeds of dog, although, if you have a very stubborn dog, alpha dog, or aggressive mix, it may not be your answer. If you have a dog that likes to wander, or need that extra safeguard, this is the perfect fence for you! In many cases, once the dog is walked around the perimeter of the flags included with the set, marking the barrier he/she is allowed to roam, within a few times of challenging the collar and invisible line, the dog won't even try to go beyond it. So in way, the dog is training itself to stay within a certain distance of home. This is also a great product to travel with, camping, grill outs, visiting family or friends, it's a very versatile product.

THE BEST EVER!
★★★★★
My husband brought this fence system home about a month ago. We have a 10 month old Golden Retriever(Molly)who weighs 80 lbs and is very high energy. Molly was used to being on a long tethered lead when she was out. It took about an hour to read the directions and set up the boundary, only because we have woods and needed to decide where she was allowed to go. After we figured that out, it took about 1/2 hour to place all the flags (only took THAT long because the kids were "helping"). I am NOT kidding you when I tell you she was trained that same evening! I only had one incident of her going past the barrier as the school bus was just TOO inticing. I turned the collar up a level (VERY easy to do) and took her out side. As soon as she realized it was less comfortable to escape, she decided not to do it again. It has been a mont and she has had the whole yard to play in all day! Its wonderful to just be able to put her out and not worry. She knows her boundary and does not go past it. I highly reccommend this fence. A feature we have NOT used yet, but look forward to, is being able to take it with us when we travel SO cool! I do wish there was a feature that allowed us to remotely page her to come in, or "correct" her when jumping or chewing something she shouldn't. That is the ONLY thing I would add. Thanks!! K. Ellis West Simsbury, CT a later note: I wrote this review about a month ago. Still a GREAT product, however my batteries died without a warning and she escaped to the road. No biggie they were easy and inexpensive to replace. However, there should be a warning sound on the main unit or something. I did buy another pet safe product, a separate collar for manual control for jumping on people or diggling holes (etc.) seems to work if you are watching all the time. Not as impressed with it as it sometimes doesn't seem to piick up the signal. Also the directions are non- existent.

We LOVE this wireless fence!
★★★★★
After much research, we are SO HAPPY we chose this product over the traditional in-ground fences! No worries about ruining any wires when we aerate the lawn or do our landscaping... It's a very flexible, cost-effective solution and it works GREAT for our very feisty 2-year-old Schnauzer mix. We keep the collar on the lowest correctional setting and to tell you the truth, at this point he probably doesn't even need the correction -- just hearing the warning beep is enough for him. He immediately turns around and gets closer to the house when he hears the beep. It only took one or two days for him to figure out his boundaries. At first he was a little afraid to go outside at all, but within less than a week he was happily playing outside in the "pet area" of the yard. Only drawback to this product is that there's no "safe gate area" where you can exit the circular pet area. (So we just take the receiver collar off our dog and put on his regular collar when we want to exit the yard to take him for leash walks.) Highly recommend this product.

Radio Fence can be bought cheaper
★★★★★
Amazon.com has always been my first place to look for deals on the internet. I am looking to purchase the Instant Radio Fence and to my shock, Amazon does NOT have the lowest price! [...] The also advertise that they have the lowest price, or if you can find it cheaper, they will sell it for less!

Great Purchase
★★★★★
We purchased this item on Saturday. Hooked it up on Sunday and by Monday afternoon our 5 month old Rat Terrier/Bichon was staying in the yard consistently. We are really pleased with this product. Our dog has been staying in the yard with many people walking by and other dogs passing by as well. It appears that he seldom has to experience the shock, he turns around rather quickly as soon as he hears the warning beep. The only difficulty we have encountered is that we have cable and electricity boxes on two corners of our lot and it appears that there is some interference with the signal. We still have the signal , but it is not in the perfect circle from the transmitter that you would expect. So far, excellent product, highly recommend. Great alternative to expensive in ground systems, and much easier to install.

As close to perfect as a wireless system can be!
★★★★★
Since we are in the process of selling our home we decided to give this wireless system a try. FIRST, I would suggest you take your dog's temperament into consideration. Although I wouldn't consider our adopted 90 lb. male Weimaraner a wus, he isn't the Alpha dog either. The training aids were good and he quickly learned how far he could go on static shock level 4. He has since become so accustomed to our establised boundaries that we have lowered it to level 2 (level 1 is just an audible beep). Adjusting the shock level is very easy - it just involves unscrewing a small cover on the collar and depressing a button. On the transmitter, you adjust the RADIUS (remember that the signal is emitted in a circle from the transmitter) using a dial. EASY! It did take some effort to locate it correctly in our home - they suggest it be 24" off of the floor and it obviously has to be near an outlet, but it can emit a signal up to 90 feet in every direction - that's a total cross section of 180 feet! The only disadvantage we found - and it is minor - is that if your home sits higher (or lower??) than part of your yard it will add few extra feet to your radius until the collar picks up the signal. This can be overcome if you build this allowance into your transmitters placement. Overall, we are thrilled and we've had this about 4 months now. I have had people tell me that once water gets under the battery cover, the battery dies. I don't know, but after looking at the cover I think it would have to be a downpour before that happened - or maybe the dog went swimming or was bathed? Regardless, I placed a piece of duct tape - not pretty but functional - over the cover to keep this from happening. Finally, we will continue to use this even after we move since it has worked so well. A good investment to protect your pet but PLEASE don't forget to take the collar off of your dog before putting him in the car and backing our of the garage. YIKES!!!
